Chic Shade Of Grey

Hola Girlies,

Grey is the colour I have begun to love especially in the monsoons this year. A grey top, dress or shirt can be paired up with black, blue or even white bottoms. Basic grey tops and dresses can be dressed up by adding some gold, silver, neon and bling chunky jewellery. Now a days pairing statement neckpieces with solid grey outfits is also high on trend. With grey setting trends for this year, I thought of putting together a chic look in it.

I wore a full sleeved split long top with a straight fit. Instead of going for a standard grey black combo, I went in for a blue grey one. I paired my blue washed denims with it and it looked great together. I added a bling neckpiece and earrings to the look. The silver handcuff helped me define the chic look further. This look would not have been complete without heels and so I went in for the ever so comfy wedges! Open hair and a swipe of pink lipstick took the look to the level of perfection.

Let me know what you would pair a basic top like this with?

Personifying Elegance!

Hello girls,

Do you wonder what could be that one go-to dress you could wear for important office events? Your saviour is a shift dress that is one of the most commonly worn formal attire for business events. It usually is a knee length dress with slightly close neckline. It usually doesn’t have a shape at the waist. Hence, many a times it is worn along with a belt that cinches the waist and gives it a shape making one look elegant! This classic office wear can double up as a cool outfit for social occasions. All you need to do is add on a dash of jewellery, a soft jacket, a jazzy clutch and you would be set to head to a social meet up!

I styled up my shift dress in a semi-formal manner. I paired it will black leggings and beige wedges. These worked in my favour give me an elegant and sophisticated look. I also added a sleek black sling bag to keep it classy! Pink lipstick is my go-to when it comes to formal wear.

Let me know in comment how would you style up your shift dress for a formal and business occasion.

Mustard Flair

Hello pretty ladies,

How many times does it happen to you that you wish to own a dress of a particular colour but finding one gets next to impossible? Happens very often right? It did to me too! I really wished to own a mustard colour dress since long but just couldn't find the one as imagined. Ultimately, I thought of designing one myself and getting it tailor-made. This dress is the outcome of that craving for having a Mustard outfit in my collection. I got it made from a local tailor using the material that actually belonged to a salwar kameez suit and formed the salwaar part of it.

Thanks to that tailor, he made it just as I had designed and it turned out so pretty. I styled it up with some chunky black jewellery. I wore pearl studs in my ears and to keep it simple I went for flats instead of heels. I kept the make-up to bare minimum with just a swipe of light pink lipstick. Left my recently chopped hair open to go with the flair.

Let me know to what extent would you go to get the kind of dress you wish to own?
