The Short Story

Every summer I go on a family trip. This time we went to Alibaug! Though a short one, it gave me the much required break from work. On the way to our hotel, we found a mini store called 'Nostalgia' which had some really good collection of clothing and decor items imported from Indonesia and Bali.

We all shopped something and I ended up shopping beautiful teal coloured shorts and tangerine palazzos. I thought of putting together a road trip/ brunch look for you guys there itself using the shorts. 

I paired my beige tank top with the shorts in order to keep them in focus. I added some chunky necklace and a gorgeous cowboy hat that I got from my village fair! The hat did the job of making it as summery as possible. The super cute brown tassel bag and footwear worked as an add on to this chic look. Round sunglasses are my fave and they tend to go with almost any look. Make sure you have one of these in your sunglasses collection, they look great. I recommend them over aviators!

I didn't wish to tie-up my hair as that would have made the hat look oversize. Letting them down was the best thing to do. I kept the make-up minimal with a pink lippie and regular style eye liner. The look turned out so well that I plan to do similar ones again.
